Wet Westie

Just thought I'd bombard you all with some pics! So much for Spring eh?! Very wet and cold walk this morning, but enjoyable all the same (cold weather walks are our favourite anyway, as we rarely see anyone else!)

Alfie has recently been diagnosed with a condition called dry eye, his tear ducts have stopped producing enough 'tears' to keep his eyes lubricated - it's really common in older Westies and the vet said Alfie has done really well to get to 12 before developing it! So he is now on eye drops eight times a day for the rest of his life. He's taking it all in his stride though, little star. He doesn't mind one bit as it means lots of treats!

I love seeing Alfie! He looks like he s having such fun on his walk, and I love the pic of him sleeping. Sorry to hear about the dry eye problem but I'm glad he's coping - I think Westies are very brave little dogs.
