Default Gerbil food

I have some science selective hamster pellets that my hamster won't eat, can I give these to my gerbils? As well as their normal mix

I don`t suppose it would harm to break a few biscuits up for them and add them to the diet. Most rodent foods vary in analysis, but their content is normally very similar. Sometimes hamsters won`t eat the biscuits if they havn`t been broken up into smaller pieces. I do this for my dwarf hamster and he loves them. Robos really like smaller pieces, so maybe try breaking one biscuit and adding it to the food dish? You may notice it being eaten once it`s broken into smaller bits. x

Thanks, the gerbils don't like them either so will try breaking them up, I will be changing Her on to dwarf hamster harvest once the Harry hamster is finished as she doesn't seem keen on it, thought she may like the smaller pieces better

Robos don`t tend to eat large pieces so breaking them up helps. I invested in a pestle & mortar and it`s a great tool to have for tapping/breaking extruded biscuits or anything else into smaller pieces. x
