I've become a gerbil mum too!

Some people just lie. I`ve never had a `bad` gerbil and I had around seven at separate times. Grub, the little guy who twanged his tooth, was the sweetest little gerbil on earth, he really was a trooper. He had such a loving, laid back nature and was always subordinate. It was torture caring for him and watching him deteriorate from a lively little man to one that depended on tooth trims and soft food.

The gerbil in your sand bath looks very much like the last gerbil I had called Munchie! he was a big, robust lad and full of cheek! x
