Re: Rogue - a long time in the waiting!
Rogue-woof is loving the new doors. Today he had fun rolling around in the garden and playing with his flirt pole. He wasn't impressed that I forgot to take a dog bowl out for his water and he ended up with a hamster bowl to drink from!

Gorgeous boy! Oh the shame of drinking out of a hamster bowl though!
Keep the pics coming

Re: Rogue - a long time in the waiting!
His flirt pole is a small toy on a cord which is attached to a pole. They have different ways of being used, including exercise, strengthening and training to commands when in prey drive. We just use it for fun at the moment I use it running the toy around the floor rather than in the air to avoid stressing his joints too much.
Rogue enjoyed his alfresco snack yesterday - a yummy quail egg.

Re: Rogue - a long time in the waiting!
Aww look at him tucking into his egg, what a little sweetheart.
Alfie looked at me like I had two heads when I tried with him with a flirtpole. He'd chase cats all day long given half a chance, but has no prey drive at all where anything else is concerned. I tell him he's a faulty terrier.

Re: Rogue - a long time in the waiting!
Rogue and I have had a lovely holiday. Lots of long seaside walks, yummy food and playtime. Rogue had his first experience of a sandy beach (the beaches near us are stoney ones). Apart from the water bit, he liked it!

He was treated to a new toy and looked very smug about that and the extra treats:

It's been a tiring holiday though...

He looks very clever! Is that some kind of training you're doing with him? Hamster tracking?!
