Belle the Mini Lop

Belle has been with me a while now. She is my indoor rabbit, and lives in the hamster room. She's around five months now and was originally 'Lucy' when she arrived, but changed her name to Belle because I think it suits her more.

I wanted another rabbit for quite a while, so of course, I did a lot of research, learnt from my past mistakes and then introduced Belle to my life.

Here are some recent pictures of my girl.

She gets free roam quite a lot throughout the day, though still waiting to properly fix the door handle to be able to have her free-roaming more often. She is living alone, but does get a lot of attention from me and other family members, so she is a very happy girl.

Remember when you got her, hasn't she grown! Looks like she's very settled!

Aww, she's beautiful. I went through the stage of considering an indoor rabbit but decided that I wouldn't be able to manage very easily....it was sometime later that I realised that I could manage smaller bundles of fluff!

I love Belle's colouring, very attractive.

I forget that she has grown. It's strange to look back at her baby pics, then now, and see the difference!

She will sit for cuddles if you get her in a good mood, but otherwise she can be pretty bossy and only want attention when she wants.

I love her - need to work on that cuddlyness though, she isn't the biggest fan of being picked up so I have to be quite firm with her, she gets her own way too much.

A picture I took of Belle today. Because she isn't very fond of being picked up, I use a blanket to help calm her down and get used to it, and it's working.
