Guinea Pig Cage
I'm very interested in getting a couple of Guinea Pigs in the coming months but my concern is space and cage size!
I've been looking for opinions on the Rabbit 100 Double and Rabbit 80 Triple but I literally cannot find anything. Is this because the cages are a load of rubbish? Are they something I should stay away from?
Thanks

Re: Guinea Pig Cage
Most pet store cages aren't big enough for a pair of guinea pigs.
Your Guinea Pig's Home (metric)
Check out that website to see good cage sizes and care for guinea pigs. C&C cage are a great option, they're cheap compared to pet store cages and they're big enough for guinea pigs.

Thanks I'll have a look! I'm just trying to find a good alternative because I don't have a lot of space, also have cats, and I like the cages and things to look neat, sometimes I find c and c to look a bit messy :/ maybe I'm being picky haha

Re: Guinea Pig Cage
By Guinea Pig 'cage' does that include their run space? or is that an area made outside of the cage where they eat and sleep and so forth??

Well I would need it all included to be on the safe side. Although they would have space to run around in, but not have access to all the time.
It's a tricky one, I'm trying to find my best options for limited space.

Re: Guinea Pig Cage
The only suitable pet store cage (that I know of) is the Midwest cage. I think it's just big enough for a pair, however I don't know if it's large enough for males, since males usually need a little more space.
C&C cages can be cat-proofed and I'm sure Midwest cages can be cat proofed too. I'm not sure how to do it but if you look around on the website I linked there will be info on cat proofing.

I'm starting to think I don't really have the room for them unfortunately, but I need some opinions, thanks so much.

Re: Guinea Pig Cage
The minimum cage size for two guinea pigs is 7.5 sq ft.
