Re: Guinea pig had a baby :S
Ooh sounds exciting! Yes I'm being tempted into guinea pigs by this too! It sounds lovely that a family of them can live together. Can you get guinea pigs spayed or is that a silly question?

Re: Guinea pig had a baby :S
This makes me seriously miss having piggies! Me and my sisters had one each when I was about 16 (There was 3 of us, and I'm 20 now!) .. Mine was called Patches.. I still miss him, he was so funny! I love the little noise they make when they're happy! They have such different personalities and the way the ran around made me roar with laughter when we let them out in the garden to free roam!
Trying to convince my Mum to let us have some again, but we have moved house since and her garden is perfect. She doesn't want hay all over her grass and poop in the corner anymore. :P

Guinea pig had a baby S
Maybe clutter up the area for a while. They might feel exposed out in the "open." I think putting one of their houses in there is a great idea. You could also make a trail of treats for them to follow.
The guinea pig we had as kids didnt understand "floor time" either. She only would walk around in her cage and sit on our lap. It was kind of nice having a pet that lazy though, lol.

Re: Guinea pig had a baby :S
they are doing well! all healthy and happy, im so glad it went so well, considering when i got the mums and dad they were horribly underweight. Im stil trying to figure out if its a girl or a boy, im hoping a girl so it can stay with mummy x but they are all happy, fat piggies!

It's nice to hear they are doing well Gazmo. That was a really rough start for them. Great work there!
