Default Rabbit Run

hi,

im thinking on getting a rabbit. ive done all my research and know the hutch requirements, food they can and cant eat etc.

There is one problem: my garden has no grass. only concrete slabs and stones.
will they be ok in a run on just concrete? i am willing to put down a substitute flooring, if its suitable.

I would just like to know if its possible to keep them in the run without grass, if i could just simply put straw and hay down or a substitute flooring.

thanks

If you litter train I doubt it would be a problem. But concrete absorbs urine and straw would be a good idea. I would make it a thick layer. There is a rabbit forum called Rabbits Online I believe. They have their own app in the App Store. I have it. But I have 5 rabbits and they are all on grass. Maybe make the run elevated with a wire floor and a tarp that can catch droppings and urine that you could toss and replace. Pinterest the app has good rabbit hutch/cage ideas... If you have any questions just message me or comment them and I'll answer them to my best abilities.

my rabbit id in my yard and has been for 2 years with out any problems he has a concrete run, I do put a litter pan in the summer in his run but he only lays in it, I don't put hay or straw down in the run as when it gets damp it will attract earwigs and such like,

Thanks a lot! I was mostly worried about the bunny's feet and didn't even think of the "waste" .

Thanks for the info
