The lighting is a little different, but the feathers are getting dark too, it's probably a combination of both

Today they are moving up to the barn(still with lights and heat) because they chirp all night long in the house!

Is it just me or do all chicks, regardless of breed, look very awkward and ungainly when they begin to molt their downy chick fuzz and grow in their adult feathers?

Oh yeah. Especially silkies! These guys don't look too bad yet, but I'm enjoying their cute days because they are some, ummm...., weird teens!
