Question Rabbit On Ebay?!

This isn't hamster related but i'm not on any rabbit forums so thought bunnie owners on here could help.
I was scrolling through ebay, and came across a tiny hutch with a bunnie in. In the description they put;"includes a tenant shown in the other picture for free" in the pictures it looks like they've never cleaned the hutch out!
My question is; can they sell rabbits on ebay? (Ive looked into it, and it seems not, but if i report it what would happen to the poor rabbit?)

EDIT; forgot to add they have two of the same hutch, on separate listings so i'm not sure if there's two bunnies... Does that make any sense ?

Reporting the seller just gets the ad taken down, so therefor, takes away the likelihood that someone can see them and contact the seller, although they really shouldn`t be sneakily advertising live pets on ebay, people do it regardless. Remember, ebay own Gumtree where pets are allowed to be advertised and sold, but ebay is an auction site and very different.

It`s really a personal decision. The seller can be contacted about the rabbits for more info if they might be found a better home through a forum or rescue, or they can be reported. But the welfare of the rabbits is the main thing especially when they are free.

I've joined the RU forum and have brought it to the attention of a member who has let ebay know of the rabbits being on an ad and she's also let the seller know that it's not ok to post live animals on ebay. I'm now just hoping that the seller considers the rabbits welfare and posts them on a rehoming site or forum, at first I considered bidding but I've got my hands full with all these animals atm and Redditch is just too far for me to go

These type of ads serve to pull at the heartstrings of people like us who see them and want to act so it`s just human nature. Sellers should know the terms and conditions on ebay yet some obviously don`t and sneakily put small pets on in the hope they won`t be reported. But that`s not to say they won`t just try it through other sites or avenues. Then again, many kind hearted people do see these ad`s and step in. I recently did so on Gumtree and ended up with my current robo who is over two years old and `free to good home`. His previous owner was "moving home soon and have a new puppy and am concerned for the hamster`s welfare"....

Or in other words, I don`t really want the hamster I prefer the new puppy. Her loss and my gain. Hope these rabbits find a nice place to stay or you manage to find out what happened to them.
