I had loads of pets as a kid then a huge gap where the boyfriend would only allow me to have fish :/ THEN he softened and I got my current hammys

Okay here goes the long long list:

1. My St. Bernard Louie that my parents had when I was born. No research, my dad grew up with dogs so he knows a lot about them.

2. My cat Lucy that we got when I was 3 years old (she's still going strong!) No research, my mom grew up with cats.

3. Half St. Bernard Heidi (rainbow bridge)

4. Small fish tank.Some research.

5. HUGE cichlid fish tank, lots and lots of research.

6. Two pekin ducks (rainbow bridge) Research.

7. My sister's 17 chickens

8. First hamster, Rosie (rainbow bridge) Lots of research.

9. My Arabian horse, She Rocks (aka Roxy) and my sister's horse Porshe. Also a lot of research, but mainly advice from my horse trainer.

10. Guinea pig, Jenny. More research.

11. Second hamster, Poppy (rainbow bridge)

12. My dad's horse, Atticus (I call him Stinko or Reeko. Love him, but he smells REEEAAAALLY bad)

13. Three Indian runner ducks

14. Ivy and Luna

15. A few Japanese ghost shrimp. No research.

1. Border collie called Kerry - she was already here when I was born.
2. A Rough Collie called Mandy - got her for my 3rd birthday
3. A little canary called Cheeky (I think!) at around the same sort of time as the dogs.
4. My first cocker spaniel, and my soulmate, Brook. I was about 13 when we got him.
5. 10 years later, Brook was joined by our 2nd cocker spaniel Vegas. I had left home by that point so a lot of research was done with regard to breeders etc.
6. 6 months later, another cocker spaniel called Dallas joined us and made up The 3 Muskateers. Dallas is still with us although not in the best of health.
7. Female chinchilla was dumped at the vets where I worked so I took her home and named her Monica. No research done prior to getting her obviously but lots and lots done afterwards. Woke up one day to find my 1 chinchilla had turned into 3 The 2 baby girls stayed and they were named Phoebe & Rachel
8. The bestest hamster that ever lived! Deadman, the black syrian. Researched before getting him.
9. I think the next pet to come along was Cena, my little chinese hamster. Looking back now, I'm pretty sure he was a girl! Obviously didn't research as much as I should have
10. Sadly lost Brook by now so another cocker spaniel called Disney joins us. Disney is still with us.
11. Another cocker called Jackson joined us from breed rescue but he sadly died a couple of months later.
12. 2 male house rabbits from my friends litter, Del Boy & Rodney. Researched before getting them.
13. Phoebe the chinchilla is now on her own after losing her mum & sister so got a male from the rescue centre and called him Chandler. Had him neutered and made careful introductions but she hated him so they lived separately until they both died.
14. Group of 3 gerbils called Matt, Jeff & Jericho. Researched beforehand and lost them all between 2-3 years of age.
15. Took in my friends chinese hamster called Edge.
16. 2 female house rabbits from another of my friends litter, called Stevie & Gerrard (poor Gerrard must have had a complex ) Despite being indoors and regularly vaccinated, I lost all 4 rabbits to myxie when the girls were about 8 months.
17. 2 show bred rats that I took in for my friend. One was already ill with a respiratory infection when they came to me and lost him not long after. His brother then went back to the breeder at her request. Can't for the life of me remember what my friend had called them which is shameful!
18. 4 female guinea pigs came home with me after being dumped at my work. Lots of research done afterwards. Called them Pink, Anastacia, Rihanna & Beyonce.
19. Decided I missed having rats, so got 2 from P@H. The most psychotic and vicious animals I have ever had. They were called Baldwin and Ian. They both died at about 18 months.
20. By this point, it's been years without a small furry so got my syrian Cupid. Although I had hamsters before, things like cage recommendations, feeding etc change all the time so did lots of research before I got her (that's how I stumbled across this forum!)
21. A few weeks later, another syrian called Trouble joined us.
22. And lastly, a little rescue dwarf hamster called Snowflake joined us in March. Don't know her exact age but she is 1 yr+

He's been in rescue for a few months so I'm really excited. I'll definitely be posting pictures

1. Charlie, a black and white cat who was extremely attached to my mum, I learned as I went along with him because my parents got him before I was born.
2. Bootsie- Charlie's sister, extremely friendly and had a very cute meow.
3. Tiny, mother to charlie and bootsie, she was the smallest cat I have ever seen and died age 22 when I was about 4.
4. Yasmine- fattest cat I have ever met, was a stray my parents acquired from my aunt along with her sister before I was born because she was too lazy to look after her.
5. Promy yasmine's sister- weird name- bizarre cat, she was around 30 when she died and she barely ever meowed.
6. Lucky- Labrador, was around before I was born but I ended up taking most of the responsibility for him as he got older.
7. Rascal- dalmation- shyest dog I ever met, same story as Lucky.
8. Becky- Labrador puppy who my parents ended up getting adopted because they couldn't look after such a boisterous puppy with over 10 other animals.
9. 12 budgies: we didn't name them because they were impossible to tell apart, I did did a lot of research into them after my aunt decided she didn't want them so I could take them off her.
10. Charlie the cockatoo- He was a sweet little bird who was looked after by me and my mum after another one of my aunts got ill, he could say 'good boy charlie'
11. Humphrey: First hamster I owned, I was 12 and he had VERY long fur and was huge. I did so much research before I gt him I gave myself a load of headaches!
12. Henry- Second Syrian I got, he was definitely the liveliest hamster I have ever owned, did a little research around him but I knew most of what I needed to by that point.
13. Cinnamon, Snow and Ivy- Gerbils- They were all sisters and all different colours. Snow was bullied of her food by cinamon and after a massive fight between the two which almost killed cinamon I was forced to separate them. I researched a tonne before I got them.
14. Keith- Chineae hamster who had an awful nip- didn't do any research before I got him because I thought I was getting a syrian but did plenty after.
15. Ivan- HUGE Syrian hamster- didn't do any reasearch before getting him.
16. Harry and Charlie- Gerbils- Unfortunately they died at around six months old as when I was away for a few days they got into a massive fight and one scratched the other, the wound got infected and then he died, the the remaining one decided to try and eat him and also died of the same infection.
17. Molly- Syrian hamster- did a little research when I got her into the differences between male and female syrians
18. Thumper and Hutch- rabbits- did a tonne of research beforehand and they are indoor bunnies
19. Tilly and Milly- Gerbils- Two sisters I got from pets at home who are very friendly and haven't fought in the eight months I've had them!
20. Rory: Syrian hamster who's aunt is Molly! He's a lovely little fellow but is a little shy.
21. 2 goldfish- They were my cousin's but I took them on.
22. Catfish- Originally was my dads but I ended up looking after him after my dad's job got hectic.
