UPDATE
she gave birth to a runt the nest morning, but hes ok

The other 'boy' turned out to be pregnant, and had 4 pups

Your going to have your hands full with mad little baby gerbils! The little runt should be okay as long as he/she doesn`t have any weaknesses. Mum will care for them all just the same. A runt can be at a disadvantage sometimes if the stronger, bigger babies muscle in on everything, but hopefully mum will do her bit.

the runts caught up with the others now, the first litter are developing their eyelids and growing fur now I have a pic already on my ipod because there is no flash but I know we cant put them up

Plus the finches finally hached an egg so we have even more babies
