Default Woodland Rattigans

Hi all,

Thought i'd give you a little update on my ratpack

Sadly I had Blasie pts in February. He came to me at a year old with lung scarring from getting pneumonia as a baby. His breeder had tried him with many groups but he was bullied in all so when I picked up 2 kits from her she asked if I would try him with my group. He settled and spent a lovely year and 3 months being snuggled and finally accepted. I think he had a stroke as he started displaying some neurological issues like bar biting and he started to drop weight rapidly. I decided letting him go was kindest and he was very weak. Truely miss him

However, I am still left with 5 lovely boys & decided to treat them to a new hammock set as I haven't been going out much due to revising for my final exams.

It;s a woodland print & they seem to love it

Oh they are adorable all snuggled up together!

For the past year or so, I've been having the occasional urge to have rats again. But then I think back to the last 2 I had...the most psychotic, demonic creatures that have ever lived....and that's me cured

I do miss Blas, he was the cuddler of the group, such a little cuddle monster. He was my breeders fave but she let him go and im just happy I made her proud and he was able to experience group with some love

Everyone certainly has their own personality, keeps me on my toes!

Arranging the cage is tiring at times, it takes me around an hour to clean, more getting the hoover out. Ideally i like to clean weekly but as ive been so tired of late ive bene emptying their littter few days but cleaning maybe fortnightly.

I love getting new hammocks, have a fab lady who makes them, sarah's rat accessories, really great.

JBH316: oh no!! Dont let one bad ratty experience ruin it, my first 2 rescues were very very hard work but these lot ive had from kits are amazing xxxx

Your rats are gorgeous AI and I'm sorry for your loss of Blasie. The pics are fab, love the bottom one that looks like a giant white mouse and that woodland print is fantastic
