They are really lovely rats. I love the eyes. I checked in to getting rats, and I would love to. But it is way more care than I can do right now, and it wouldn't be fair to them. Maybe at a later date. The pics are great.

aww they look gorgeous, i really want rats but I hear they are often prone to tumours. Plus my step mums passed away very early after she rescued them and it was really upsetting. So something i need to build up too, but one day :3

samzyzg: thank you!! yes they are prone to tumors and rasp infections, but tumors can be removed by operations, they are worth the risk 100%! I am so sorry to hear she lost hers, I would be devastated if i lost any of mine, they get so attached to you.
Thats why I went to a breeder esp for my first ratties, didnt want the risk of loosing them, not knowing what they had been through x
I hope one day you will, It has taken me quite a while to build up the courage for them too, but I couldn't be without them now! x

oh they are! so much so! I was expecting different but not this much! everyone in my house loves them now, I dont think I could ever be without them now! x Thank you for your advice and encouragement you gave before! x

Just thought ild share some pics of them saying hello, and their cage
I decided to mesh the top half of the wires of their big cage so they can have it now rather then keep waiting!
There is another whole bit to come when they are big enough for the 1 inch bars!

they have vet bed flooring, which i have a few of so I can put a fresh one in when cleaning, they are quite good with their tray

They are very handsome rat boys indeed & it looks like they are already enjoying getting spoilt with lots of attention & a cage full of things to do, what lucky boys
