Re: My Netherland Dwarf Rabbit
When we got our Nethie from P@H adoption we were told we could pair her with another female as long as we did it soon whilst she was still young. We took her to a local independent pet shop that my mums friend used to own and put our Nethie in the bunny pen to choose a friend. She followed this baby rex bunny everywhere and snuggled up to her so we chose that one (It was around christmas so the new bun ended up being my present to my mum) They snuggled for the whole journey home and then the second they were in the house all hell broke loose. They have to live separately now and can only be together if there are bars in between them. Our Rex has grown into a big rabbit but it's our dwarfie that does the bullying.
Our buns are on the Science Selective pellets and have a constant supply of hay

Re: My Netherland Dwarf Rabbit
Aw that's a shame you had to separate them. But for the best. Yeah i noticed with Rosie she did have a bit of a nasty streak when we first got her. She bit me a few times but she bit my mum loads. I'm surprised my mum still goes near her lol. But she is as good as gold now. You wouldn't ever though she would bit anyone. She is so playful as swell Maybe it was the stress of moving. I don't know, But mummy's angel now aha!

Re: My Netherland Dwarf Rabbit
Oh, uncooked oatmeal is a good additive to their food if they're stressed. It keeps them from having tummy trouble.
