My crazy menagerie!
Ok so here we go....
First is my bunny buns Heidi. She's a double-maned lionhead and a sweetpea! So cute! She's my little shadow and is a house rabbit. She's 4.5 months old.
Then we have the 2 gerbils Bertie and Sid. Can never take good pics cos they're too damn fast! They're nearly 2yrs old.
Then we have Lucius. He's a black tabby cat with white. Such a handsome boy! Just had the snip the other day. Poor lad! He's crazy and is 5.5 months old.
Then the sweetheart that is Gracie puss. She's very quiet and dainty. Shes a dark tortoiseshell and is 1yr and 4 months old.
Cont.....

Re: My crazy menagerie!
I've always wondered about house rabbits - don't they chew wires etc?
I like your gerbils, especially the ginger one! Are they as good pets as hams?

Re: My crazy menagerie!
Heidi has the run of the spare room. I've rabbit proofed so she can't get to any wires. i leave the door of her DIY cage open so she can go in and out 24hrs a day as she pleases. If it's nice outside she also has an outdoor run. I prefer to keep bunnies inside cos you son't have to worry about the cold/predators etc. Also you're more likely to spend more time with them and they'll be friendlier.
As for gerbils, as cute as they are I wouldn't have any more in future. Nightmare! Escape artists, destroy EVERYTHING. Have cost me so much money in damages! PLus you cant handle them properly. Too squirmy. Im sticking with hammies! x
