Lesser jerboa babies!!!
My female (Pepper) just gave birth last night!
Have not checked them yet, but if they do survive, I will update with pictures
The father (Oxnard) also became a father last month (12-8-2012) with another female
My other pair had one baby on January 1st, but sadly, it was born dead
Here's a picture of the proud parents!
The Mother!!!
The Father!!!

Re: Lesser jerboa babies!!!
Because it's not allowed to post pictures of the baby with its eyes shut, I will NOT post pictures untill it is about 4-5 weeks old!

Re: Lesser jerboa babies!!!
I've never heard of these animals - are they like mice or something? They look quite mousey

Re: Lesser jerboa babies!!!
My guess is that they aren't part of the mouse family, but are are still closely related aka a small rodent.

Re: Lesser jerboa babies!!!
Oh, they're beautiful! Their eyes are HUGE. I've had gerbils all my life, since I was 8 and I'm now retired. I never mated them. These babies are just womderful.
