Default a double introduction :D

Introducing the roebuck gecko's

I have had experience with cresties before. Its mine and mr.roebucks anniversary next month, and to celebrate getting past this really hard time, we decided we would get two gecko's.

So introducing, Naxxramas "naxx" for short.
S/he is a blond harlequin, and is mr.roebucks one, will grow up keeping the dark grey and the creamy white markings when flared (dulled down when not in flare) and is the slightly bigger of the two. so far s/he likes to sit on the orchid branch, and was a crazy loon hopping about in the box when I opened the outer delivery box.

And Hyjal
S/he is my gecko, a creamsicle, as s/he grows and flares the colours on the body will go red with the cream yellow markings, the photos do not show the flaring but s/he had more flare when i first opened the box. currently likes to sit on the wooden panels on the side of the tank and tried to go up my sleeve like a hamster!

We wont know if they are boys or girls till about 6 months old, they where born in june so they have a while yet to go! if girls they will continue living together, but we can always make another tank if nessisary.
this is their home
-more vines and leaves will be added as they get used to us and as they grow-

Enjoy!

Aww!! You make me want one sooo bad!! Alas, I am saving for a bearded dragon. And my mom would have a fit if I tried bringing more than one scaley friend home. She can't stand anything that doesn't have fur lol Love their eyes though, so expressive! And cute!

awww haha! i dont think beardies are as friendly as geckos, i certanly wouldnt want an adult one jumping at me like these guys do!
but i can see the facination in them! my cousin has 3, a boy and two girls, the boy would sit waving to the girls so he had to put a screen up XD
my mum dosnt mind gecko's, but she would shoot me for bringing home a beardie!

Im currently persuading her to rats for in a few years time, she dosnt mind them, but its the cage size she is worried about!

Yeah, I was gonna get a pair of rats, but the cage I would have needed was massive. So I got a pair of mice instead. Even having to keep them in seperate cages, it doesn't take up as much room as the one would have.

I don't know how friendly geckos are, but my friend had a beardie that was fairly friendly. He wasn't just attached at the hip to you, but I still think it would be cool to have one. Plus it doesn't hurt that I already know all the basics about them, like the temp and dietary needs, all that lol.

Geckos have such great personalities, I wanted one so bad when I was younger but my mom drew the line at tree frogs (they were epic too but still lol) one day I'll convince my OH to let me have one (the roles are reversed, he likes soft and fluffy and I'm the reptile geek lol)

Also, congrats on the two years! My anniversary is in the same month, it'll be three for us, time flies
