I am sooooo exited, I'm off to Crufts on thursday!!! Can't wait!! Anyone here into dogs and going or am I the only one? Sorry this is a bit of a pointless thread but I'm just so hyped up!!!

i have dogs, 2 springer spainels (working bred not show) ild love to get into obediance or agility when i have a dog in later live, but wont be able to have a dog and work full time, so will wait i think i might do some rabbit obediance (clicker training) so i can learn
i go to the hamster shows but always have a look at all the other animals there, esp rabbits going 'is that what mine will be like?' haha

i get hyper for the hamster shows, this would be my first not coming home with a hamster, but with new arrivals of a different kind haha!

I said last year i was going to go this year but plans change lol
I was ouching at bradford so dont think i could do crufts.Yep theres a lot of pain when pregnant lol
I have a few friends who will be showing there dogs so will watch it on the tv to see if i can see them and cheer them on.
I hope i can go next year though.

Unfortunately no. I have a friend who's showing in the Tibetan Terrier class

i went in 2010 after winning a competition, it was amazing, i wish i had spare money to go again, have a fab time!

My friend has had a highly commended certificate in the Tibetan terrier class. It was Faith's [the dog] first time. We're all thrilled as she was the youngest in the adult class.

I used to take my Cypriot Toodle (Terrier-Poodle) to agility shows and would train her constantly not only the basics for agility but also show-tricks such as playing dead when she is 'shot', playing the base drum and ride cymbal on my drum kit, opening doors, walking on two legs and to tell her left from her right with both giving paws and when walking off her lead so she would turn down left or right roads

However as she was a mongrel I could never enter her into proper shows like Crufts (plus she still lives in Cyprus with my mum) but I do like to watch the agility trials in the show My curret dog - a Chocolate Lab - is too dumb to be taken to a show

I was at Crufts on the Sunday. We had a fabulous day! Also did lots of shopping and was worn off at the knees by home time.

Aww Lynternette well done on the class, bet your friend was thrilled! With so many dogs competing it must be a fab feeling when your own dog gets something there! Wish I could take my dogs, but one has no papers but is a perfect breed representation and the other does have papers but is not show size nor standard. I will one day hopefully get a dog there though, its one of my amibitions in life. I had a fab time, spent loads (unavoidable), met some lovely people and dogs,and am really sad it's all over again for another year. Where does the time go!
