I'm not officially back yet, and my mind is more cluttered than ever, but I have some exciting news to share...
Maia won a first place ribbon! Yesterday I went to a chinchilla show and took Maia along. She was one of the last classes of the day and won a first because she had great fur density, strength, clarity, and color, she was just lacking on size (Which I was aware of). She's the first chin I've ever bred and I'm so excited for my girl, she has a lovely personality and is the sweetest girl I could ask for.

AND...You didn't think I went and come home empty handed did you??? No official name yet, but I'm thinking Oscar. My dad recommended it from a TV show that I'm too young to remember, I just think it suits him! He's very grumpy
