I still think its such a shame that our hammies can't live like this. It would be so much fun & a lot easier too at playtime, all out in one go!
Fab pictures.

Re: Snow + Peas + Ratties = Cold Noses!
Indeed, i'll have to remember when seth comes home and i take in alasdair..when i pick bear up i nearly drop him as i forget how light he is! One cage and all out together for play time certainly makes it easier on time and cage cleaning, hence why when people go..wow 5 rats??!!! I say yes but not as much work as 5 hamsters!
Snow would be ok for hammies but not sure they would find it as enjoyable, could try a bit on a tea spoon perhaps

The ratties look very excited by the new cold experience. They are such inquizative critters I'm sure they enjoyed this. Love the black ones face!

I'm so jealous - I really envy the inquisitiveness and intelligence of rats.. if only they came in dwarf size!!
They're all looking great though and glad they enjoyed the snow

Re: Snow + Peas + Ratties = Cold Noses!
Thank you, not sure if i mentioned but Remy has a permanent head tilt due to an ear infection, I rushed him to the vets new years day and did everythign i couldv'e but he must have had it over christmas. You can see his tilted head behind dodger (the blck one) still love him though.
They needed the peas as encouragement to go near the snow, kept running back to me almost for reassurance
