Default Surprise piggies

so my hubby surprised me by letting me get 2 baby guinea pigs and they are super cute and awesome. I went to work last night and came home and then held them and one looks like it has an eye infection or eye issues and the other was sneezing a ton so now they are at the vet and i'm all worried about them because they are so tiny and don`t really have extra body fat yet to be able to lose weight or anything which is why i just jumped at going back to the store and making them get them checked out. since there are so many liability issues with the states and crazy lawsuits they make u take a refund while they get the pets checked out so now they have them and i don`t technically own them but i love them a ton already and i`m kinda freaked out that they are going to mess up and i`ll never see them again. yeah freaking out a bit. then the day i got them all this craziness was going on at work i had to deal with and then we got a flat tire... its just been quite a week and since bad things tend to just pile u at least for us i`m worried that just everything that can go wrong is going to. hubby thinks i`m nuts so can`t even talk to him about it.

no the store doesn`t tell you who they use. and since their policy is to refund the money paid for them i don`t techincally own them at the moment so that i can`t sue them if something really bad is wrong so even if i did they probably wouldn`t tell me anything. i have to wait for the store to call so i can get them back.

They said they would call today or tomorrow so i should hear back from them today and if i don`t i`ll be going over there to see why they aren`t calling.

I would call the store and ask how they are doing and what the vet said and that you would like to buy them back as soon as they are well. In accepting the refund though I guess they have no obligation to tell you as they are no longer yours however if they are a good store I'm sure they will be keen to see them in a nice home again.

well i told them i want them and everything and brought them in because they are already really young and with not much body fat so if they really are sick losing weight would be very very bad for them it could stunt their growth or make them too weak to recover so they know i brought them back in because i was worried about them and they said they would call me and i would get them back but i`ve never had to do this with a pet before so i`m worried it won`t work out right. i`m going to call them when they open and ask about them and see whats going on.
