this moring i woke up to a text from one of my best friends heres what it said:

i dont know if you know or not but my moms been very sick the last few years and shes been very sick the last few days and shes past on now though we may havnt kept in touch lately i just wanted to say thank you for sticking by me these last few years i love you tell your families i love them for me youve been a great friend to me thank you

ive been friends with him for 5 years and his mom has had breast cancer since ive known him the last month or so its been getting really bad she was in and out of the hospital and i have been asking him how shes doing

i didnt know his moms name but she was always nice to me always saying hi and made dinner for me becuase they would have KFC and i dont eat KFC
she would even hang out with my friends and me

this is the second person very close to me to lose their mother to breast cancer
