Big thank you to the HC Administrators

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Souffle and all the HC moderators and administrators who look after HC. I some how managed to completely lock myself out of my account last week, but received the fabulous news today that I could log back in. It may only have been a week but I’ve really missed reading the posts. Many thanks to all those who’ve helped, much appreciated

I never log out. I've done this once and promptly forgot the password to log back in.

It was super odd, I kept trying to reset the password but wasn’t getting anything back from the server, even attempted setting up a new Userid but that didn’t work, lol. Got a bit panicked actually, who else could I ask all my hamstery questions too

I know! I don't even want to imagine what my hamsters life would be like had i not joined HC.

My research consisted of watching a few youtube videos thinking 'oh, they are cute little things' then went straight to a p@h and got one! And what a surprise to watch the hamster grow into a big 230g boy who wouldn't fit into the wheel. Now what, so i went online for help and Thankfully came across HC.

I did everything possible wrong at first and people on here were so patient and non judgemental with me.

Ria, this made me smile. I didn’t even do the video part just knew a few friends who had hamsters

Just tick the box that says something like stay logged in - when you log in. My phone also saves my passwords securely and Firefox does that for me on Windows on my laptop

Thanks Serendipity, I’ve just ticked the box today. Not sure if I did that before? Bizarrely my password security somehow had two different passwords for my one Userid. I think clearing all the old cookies and passwords, everything HC related from my phone helped and they were able to then reset me

Thanks for your super quick reply via email Souffle, I didn’t recognise the other ids that contacted me other than it was from the webmaster address, so just thought I’d do a quick thank you on here and hope they see it too
