Default Re: Rabbits

I know this sounds crazy, and maybe it’s dumb. She’s got on so well with our cat, like really really well. They fell asleep cuddling each other.

Does it have to be a rabbit companion? Just our cat has always been nervous, she loves cuddles from both me and my partner but I think because of the place we rescued her from, she has always been afraid to be seen being cuddled by someone else. So she would never sit with us if we were in the same room.

This evening we were both in the room and she fell asleep with the rabbit, she wasn’t scared. She even meowed which we’ve never heard her do before! (I’d just fed and changed her water so definitely wasn’t hunger).

I’d be worried to get another rabbit as I’ve never seen the cat so happy and the rabbit seems to love her too. So is it okay for her companion to be a cat rather than another rabbit?
