They just come from pet food Stanza. Not the kind of things that would randomly fly in the house. Most pet foods contain moth eggs - they're too tiny to see. Apparently they can be in flour as well! Apparently moths can lay eggs through plastic. So usually it's to do with large warehouse storage as to how they've managed to lay eggs in pet food - which probably isn't stored to the same degree as human level food.

If you freeze the food it kills the eggs so they can't hatch out. They tend to only hatch out in very warm conditions (could be hot weather or could be a hot room in winter ). I think the correct term is Indian Meal moth (pantry moth).

I'll leave it at that so I don't creep Ria out on her thread!
