Default Intrepid, aren't they?

I don't know if you saw this, but I can certainly imagine it happening....

Ha ha. It almost sounds like an April fool but can’t be as it was New Year’s Eve. Yes they are intrepid. I wonder if it escaped from a house attached to an owner’s coat or something. Our first hamster used to escape the living room by jumping on the back of my long dressing gown. Only when I was half way up the stairs could I feel something dragging at the back of my dressing gown and sure enough there was the hamster sitting on the back hitching a ride!

Yep, I was wondering if the hammie basically rode the whole way to the shop, and only hopped off of his human when something particularly tasty took his interest. I hope he finds his way back where he belongs - the owner has got to be tremendously confused right about now....

You have just given me an idea for a new fun thread for the New Year - for people to share their most interesting hamster escapades! Off to start it
