I came across some pigtures
of my guineas last night - wanted to share as I don't think I've posted proper pictures of them all here before!
So these are the furries that aren't living with me at the moment:
Rufus, my big cuddle-monster boar. He's an absolute tinker and very cocky and demanding!
His girlfriend Matilda - she is facing to the right
she's a bit shyer, always used to be dominated by her sister Daisy who has passed away now, Matilda has become a lot more confident since then. She has a bit of a punk hairdo this year as my Dad doesn't have the time to care for her long coat properly so I crop it every few months when I visit.
Fievel, a very shy little boy that I rescued myself - this is the pig that came in with a broken leg from a pet shop to be euthanased. He has a limp and is very cautious around people (as we suspect he was roughly handled and had his leg broken by unsupervised children, it's not surprising) but has got a lot better in the 2 years I've had him. He is absolutely gorgeous - satin coat I think.
And lastly my star Bronwyn who keeps Fievel company. I got her from the animal handling barn at uni, I chose her as the most outgoing one in the litter to try and bring Fievel out of his shell - hasn't really worked, but she looks after him so well - will take him food to where he's hiding if there are people around! She is a really lovely pig, if it wasn't for a few white hairs on one foot I might have been tempted to get into showing with her.
And Harry, who likes to think he's a guineapig sometimes - he will certaintly steal their food at any opportunity!
