So I got a new job and I start a week from today! Yay! I give my boss notice this afternoon when I go in for my shift. I know she'll be unhappy with me leaving before Christmas (I work in a collectables store at the mall here and it gets crazy around the holiday) but that's what she gets for not taking care of her employees! The new job I got is at a Scrapbook store owned by a couple ladies I've known for years. They should at least be able to match my current wage but I'm not too worried about that. It's temporary but better than nothing and besides, I'm on my way to a teaching position so I won't be there very long anyways, just to get me through the rest of college. They seemed to be very eager for me to start because the head lady wanted me to start today. I told her "I think I should give my current emplyer notice." She laughed and said, "Yeah, that's probably a good idea."
And the best part is...I GET TO WEAR JEANS TO WORK!
