zooplus confusion
I was browsing the small pet toys on zooplus and took the order to the page where you have to enter your card details ....but then I had second thoughts and returned to normal Internet. Then I received an email saying order conformation from them. I have once ordered from them but I was in 2011. Since then I have changed banks cards ect. I don't understand how I can get a confirmation with out me personally putting in my card details. Is this normal ?

Re: zooplus confusion
I get this - for some reason I never have to put in my card details as it is always saved! However, I thought bank cards ran out after 3 years ... Unless you paid by paypal in which case it would have saved that maybe?

Re: zooplus confusion
I don't know then ... There isn't any way for me to check the payment options without buying anything! I will be buying from there next week anyway though

Re: zooplus confusion
I had a mess up with Zooplus last year when I went to pay using my debit card for goods. I ordered a few bags of hamster food and shavings and paid using the `quick method` thinking they had my card details saved from my last order. I then got the confirmation email saying thanks for my order....
Four/five days later, I`d heard nothing from them about my order being dispatched, so I emailed them and it turns out my payment did not go through? I was confused as they had sent me the confirm email...
I re-ordered the items I had saved on the order page, but this time, I typed in my card details in full and the order did go through. But I had a waiting time of around one week for the box to arrive. So I would advise if you do purchase from Zooplus, don`t use their `quick payment` box thinking your card details are saved. They are NOT! Zooplus actually told me they didn`t store personal card details, yet the payment page asks people to choose the quick payment option?
I havn`t ordered from them since, but my friend has and they messed up a new cage and then messed up another food order she placed. Not good.

Re: zooplus confusion
They sent me a email today to say my payment didn't go through. Not suprising as I had not put in any payment details in and they tried to use a credit card 5 years past expire date. Guess if there is a lesson to learn it is please everyone be careful as they will take money without you entering an details if you have used them before without you finishing your order.

Re: zooplus confusion
I order from them fairly often & they do save card details but you do have to fill in the ccv number for that card before payment will go through or if you use paypal you will have to sign into paypal to complete the transaction so either way is safe even if they do send out an email saying you've paid when you haven't (which is weird admittedly) you won't be charged.

Re: zooplus confusion
I'm glad you've had a response from zooplus and your query has been answered. I am therefore closing this thread as your issue has been resolved and, as the forum rules state, specific queries over products/service support should be sent directly to the manufacturer/supplier.
