I haven't posted for a little while but many of you knew that I've been caring for 6 dwarf hamsters without my landlords permission.

So this morning I just called her and told her the truth. She just started laughing and said it was no problem.

She didn't ask any questions about them either. I am so happy about that, a big relief.

I've been hiding them for 2 years now about.

Good news CB! I remember your anxiety before especially when an inspection was due. Now you can relax about it all. Hope all is well.

I bet you wish you did this sooner, she knows you're a good tenant and that you respect her property. Also, she would've been able to tell by your voice how much you adore your 4 hams.
You can tell a lot in a voice.

True, I would have saved alot of worrying & time. I couldn't do it anymore, I had to tell her. I'm sure she could tell by my voice.

However, sometimes it's better 2 meet in person & have eye contact. But she said it's ok to talk on the phone instead of scheduling a meeting.

You are very lucky to have such a generous landlord Cinnamon Bear, glad to se you back as well! When we were moving house it took us nearly a year to find a landlord who would accept our menagerie of animals

Yea, my landlord has given out many flyers saying if any pets are found you will be asked to get rid of them or move out. She's a tough landlord too so when I talked to her she asked, "what kind of pets do you have"? I said miniature hamsters and she thought that was so funny. She said if it had been anyone else it would be a problem, but she didn't care a less with me (thanks to God). I didn't even have to have a certain amount of animals, I could always have 6 if I wanted, but no way am I doing this many again.

One of two will be max for me in the future. I'll enjoy these while I can tho

I guess you got lucky there - must be quite tiring caring for 6 hamsters
