Pets you'd like to have but can't
I would love some Guinea Pigs but I keep getting skin infections off them which is really frustrating because they are such lovely creatures. The ringworm I got was not bad at all but the fungal infection I got was very unpleasant. Now it's your turn...

Re: Pets you'd like to have but can't
There are so many pets I'd love to have but I've really fallen for Chihuahuas since Vectis has got Rogue. Rogue is even cuter in real life but I'm not allowed a dog where I'm living at the moment.
Mind you I wouldn't say no to a Westie or a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel either.

Re: Pets you'd like to have but can't
I got pretty attached to a friends Maltese lap dog, I'd get a Maltese if I would ever get a dog. I love Persian & Himalayan cats, also Bengal cats, but seeing I'm allergic to cats & dogs that probably won't ever happen!
The Maltese isn't as bad but I'd still be asking for allergy trouble, oh well!

I really want guinea pigs, chickens, scotts garter snake, leopard gecko, tropical fish set up, more cats, Doberman (in the future, my 5 cats would hate me. haha). and rats.
There's probably more I want but I can't remember, haha! I love animals.

Re: Pets you'd like to have but can't
I'd love to have a dog, but working full time I can't. I'd also like to have a mouse (either one boy or a trio of girls), and I've thought about having ferrets in the past. And I'd love to have chickens in the back garden, they're funny to watch and you get the added bonus of fresh eggs!
A friend of mine is also constantly trying to get me to have a crested gecko, they are rather cute.

Re: Pets you'd like to have but can't
I'd love to have a dog again, I really can't look after one now & it's not practical anyway as I've filled the house with hamsters lol! but I still dream of having another greyhound or a scottish deerhound.
I'd really like to keep mice one day too but don't think I could give up any ham space!

I would love to have a dog but I'm very allergic unfortunately. They haven't invented a cure for dog allergy yet I quite fancy having a Chinchilla too. And a few more hamsters

Re: Pets you'd like to have but can't
There are some dog breeds that are supposedly suitable for people usually effected by dog allergies.
I would have more parrots/macaws, dog(s), chameleon(s) and probably others.

Re: Pets you'd like to have but can't
Yes they used to say that there were some breeds that were non allergenic but have changed opinion on that now apparently - it's the dander rather than the moulting hair. Even being licked by a dog can set off a reaction.
