Hamsters for life?
Was wondering if you plan to have at least one hamster for as long as you are able to care for one providing that health & finances are not ever a problem? Or do you think hamsters will come to a close after your current hammies pass?
I think Iife wouldn't be the same without a hamster to care for. I hope to always have a hammie in my life.

Re: Hamsters for life?
If I continue to have the same passion, hamsters will always be a part of my life.I know that in some way animals will always be a part of my life though, even if there isn't a hamster.

Re: Hamsters for life?
After having a gap of a couple of years and then getting back into hamsters again four years ago, I think that they will always play a part in my life. I'd like a couple more Chineseys and eventually it is my plan to breed them to further my show lines. They're a big part of my life and I can't imagine life without having at least one.

I imagine I will always keep hamsters or some sort of rodent for life. I would love to teach my future kids about the responsibility of them too

Re: Hamsters for life?
I don't think I'd enjoy my life as much without my little ones. They're just so full of personality and fun, they make me laugh when I'm feeling down (no one can do that apart from my boyfriend), They make me forget all of life's problems and it's like a new world spending time with them.

Re: Hamsters for life?
I also cannot imagine life without some kind of small creature. Hamsters are wonderful because they are so gentle, entertaining and beautiful. Also you can get so many different species so plenty of variety!

Re: Hamsters for life?
I love having hamsters, partly because they are amazing little critters, but also partly because it is through owning hamsters that I have made some of my best friends. Considering one of my lifetime goals is to become a crazy animal lady, I'm pretty sure I'll end up with a room full of them for as long as I am able to look after them
