Question Merry Birthday!

So my Dad's birthday is near Christmas day and I'm a little stuck. I don't know whether to get him a Christmas card or a Birthday card I got him two gifts for his birthday and Christmas but I don't know if I should get a Birthday card write "and merry Christmas" inside it or vice versa. Little bit silly but I'm stumped here lol!

LOL if you only get one card I kind of like the idea of Merry Birthday! I think he will appreciate having separate gifts though. It's something I've heard before from kids born close to Christmas: they felt they were denied a holiday because their families always seemed to combine the 2 celebrations into one! I'm sure your dad will be happy with whatever you choose

My birthday isn't near Christmas but a good friends' is in Christmas Eve. She always really appreciates separate cards and gifts. I'd get him two cards. Or make him a birthday card.

I have a few friends who have birthdays near christmas and they HATE shared gifts so I would definitely say seperate pressies and cards! I think it must feel as though your birthday is less important than christmas, which is a shame

I'd get two cards and pressies. No matter when your birthday is it is always your special day and needs its own recogntion I think You could always make him a card if they are a little expensive I love a home made card.

Erin was 6 on the 22nd. We will always keep her bday/xmas seperate. My brothers is 23rd and I'm sure as he got older he had joint gifts but seperate cards.
