Default Ah Ha! I finally got this.

Going back a number of months ago, an HC member, I think it was Tutu?, posted about a BBC series, Hidden Kingdoms, in which tiny, tiny little critters were featured. After reading about the program I was so disappointed when I couldn't see it here in the USA.

Well, I spotted this on Amazon...The DVD of the series. I ordered it right away and it came in the mail today! Guess what I'll be watching today?

I really, really, wanted this. *happy dance*

Which lil creatures? It was so disappointing that the Attenborough doc on animals had about 1.5 minutes of hamsters, with studio made camera ready 'tunnels'.....please tell me theres a really good doc about rodents out there? What is this BBC thing of which you speak?

It was a great programme, I really really enjoyed it. The BBC can definitely make good nature programmes. I actually watched one not that long ago that had robo hamsters in it in the wild! Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the show now... grrr..

Have you watched it yet Dr McK? Just wondering about getting it too. Is there much about hamsters on it?

Thanks for the link DrK There's a bunch of stuff from a German program in Syria about hamster conservation, but its in German as well.

I think the Wild China gave like two minutes to the hams? With a movie set underground tunnel?

That's how I remember it from when it was on tv, a very enjoyable 2 minutes but a bit of a disappointment all the same!
