Vintage bike.
I went for a long walk today to fetch a vintage racing bike I won on ebay last week. I like to restore / rebuild old racing bikes and won one for the grand sum of £16. I will be doing this one up for myself. I took a dog back to a neighbours after he jumped through a hedge into my back garden and there was a ladies mountain bike outside their next door neighbours house. It didnt have a saddle on it. I knocked on the door and asked if it was their bike. The woman said yes and that something was wrapped around the rear wheel. It was her daughters bike and she took the saddle and post off the bike and walked home. She said I could have it. I have a vintage bike rusting away in my back garden and took the saddle and post off it and fitted it to the bike. One bike for nothing and a racing bike for £16. Not bad really. I just need a tyre for the racer and a general clean as it has not been used for a few years.
