Party!
Well our little boy loves his new room and the set up. He especially loves his nightlight which is a colour changing egg and makes the room a bit like a nightclub! So he had us both up in his room with the disco lights, along with Charlie who got transported up in little boy's welly boot (Charlie was having a rummage in it). It was really nice, sitting in the dark with the egg changing colour and Charlie rolling around in his ball making a b-line for R2D2! You had to be there! Oh and a bit of dancing too. Charlie definitely seemed to pick up on the atmosphere and was having fun out of his ball.
Note to self - must check little boy's room is hamsterproof so Charlie can run around in it.

Sounds like a great night! Glad it was all worth it :P it'd be great if it was hammy proof, bet Charlie and your little boy would love it!

Re: Party!
Thanks Becky! Yes it was worth it - just wish we weren't still having to think about moving in a few months time, but am keeping positive we will sort somewhere so he can still have a nice room and not a teeny tiny room with no space for toys. I am still shifting things around in our room, which is a bit cluttered, but its ok.

Re: Party!
That sucks a bit I've never moved house in my life and when I do move in with my Boyfriend I indeed it to be the house that we stay in for the rest of our lives! Now how that works out will be a different story I'm sure . To be honest whenever I was young me and my sister shared a room which had room for storage but not a lot of room to play but to be honest it never bothered us :P I hope you get sorted though

Re: Party!
Thanks Becky. You're right, I think children just accept what is there. My room was also the spare 'guest' room so not many toys in there either. It is actually good having a big clear out before moving though - but I do hate moving! My Dad was in the forces so we moved every 2 or 3 years, but then the houses all looked the same and had identical furniture in, so it wasn't so bad except for leaving people behind and changing schools. But it has made me a nester! I think you do right to want a 'home for life' - so fingers crossed, we will have one after the next move.
