Goosebumps
I have been looking through the threads on here and just sat back on my sofa. I looked out of the window and in the corner of my eye, I saw something on the back cushion of my sofa about 2 inches away from my face. I leaned forwards to get a look at it and it was a big spider.
As ugly as can be and just sat there with its stripey body facing away from me and its long front legs stretched out. I got a tissue and squished it. Brrrr. I got large goosebumps now and I still have them. I hate spiders and there was one, right next to me. I swear, if I turned hy head towards it, it would have kissed me good morning. lol.
I am still cold and goosebumps wont go.

Re: Goosebumps
Oh wow, Ian I would hate to be you right then lol. Last night I was taking my uniform out my gym bag and a large black spider crawled over the top of the bag and went inside with all my uniform and PE kit. Me and mum used coat hangers to move the clothes so we could find it and squish it!

Re: Goosebumps
I dont blame you using coat hangers. lol. I have hated them since I was small and my mother was putting me to bed. She pulled back the covers (no quilts / duvets in the 60's) and there in the centre of my bed was the biggest black spider I had ever seen. Have hated them ever since. It took me years to get over the nervous itching and scratching it caused. lol

Re: Goosebumps
Yep, I'm exactly like that. I always hated them, but when I was around 7, I put my arm in a coat and a black spider crawled out the arm. Get bad shivers still . The other day one crawled out of my duvet, and I slept on the sofa for a week till I found it...

Re: Goosebumps
I was about 5 and at school. In break time, I went to the toilets to have a drink of water out of the tap. I put my mouth to the tap, turned the water on and took water and spat it out a couple of times before having a drink. When I turned the tap off, there was a spider in the sink. I like to think it was not im my mouth and spat out with the water, but it must have flushed out when I turned the tap on. I have never drank straight from the tap since. lol

Re: Goosebumps
Urgh. I hate spiders. Only a few days ago i got out of the shower, wrapped a towel around me and were stood on the landing talking to my 3yr old. Something were tickling my shoulder. Turned my head thinking it was just my hair and there crawling about on my shoulder right in front of my face was one of those HUGE house spiders. Omg did i scream! Flicked it onto the floor then realised i had nothing on my feet and this spiders crawling about like mad. In the end i got my partners shorts from the top of the wash basket (closest thing at hand) and squashed the damn thing. My heart was pounding like mad for ages after. I can still visualise it now. Im surprised i didnt have a heart attack!
