I don't think they leave the water but I'm not up to researching them any further - I got to the part where it sticks its proboscis into sea anemone and sucks out it's nourishment. I mean I've got a great uncle who eats like that but we don't really acknowledge that branch of the family.

Mmmm...I've heard that those Sea Nopes live in the sea around Japan and taste really good

As for earwigs, I had them living and breeding in my bathroom. Never could figure out where they were hiding out but I suspect they were able to get into the skirting next to the closet and hide. After a while I noticed there weren't any more earwigs and then shortly after that a medium-sized spider came out from under the closet door, sat there for a minute as if surveying its domain, and went back inside. Problem solved! A spider moved in

Spiders, are scary looking.. The BIG ones with the long legs.. We have brown recluse spiders where I live. These spiders, once bitten are called flesh eating spiders, due to of bitten your skin starts to rot, hard to treat and I know a few people that got bitten by a brown recluse spider, and had to get a series of shots to stop the flesh eating of their skin.

I remember when I was a child, I saw a black spider, and my brother said, just step on it.. I must have been about 10 yo. So, I step on this black spider, and next thing, I see, are tiny spiders, loads upon loads of them scattering in all directions under my sandal!! Scared the life out of me and my brother! The spider must have been pregnant, and when I stepped on her the babies where everywhere!!!

My spider phobia went away when I confronted my first or second tarantula indoors. If I can beat them, to a gooey pulp, anything smaller just seemed slightly annoying.

This happened to my old mate when we were kids. Some spiders carry their young under their bodies. When stepped on, the babies scatter and it is hard to kill all of them. They are fast.

We have little black and white jumping ones. too. If you go to squish them with a shoe or something, they jump out of the way.
