I feel horrible:(
I lost Mio. And Bolt. In the house. Let's start from the beginning:
I found these awesome cages. They were huge, and perfect for a leopard gecko. So I got two and quickly altered them to be suitable for the geckos.
They loved them, I loved them, I went to sleep, I woke up, they were gone. Both of them.
I'm freaking a bit. They escaped. It's my fault. I don't know where to look, I feel sick to my stomach that I did this to them. And if Mio finds Bolt...she'll hurt her. I feel so guilty and awful .

Oh Colby, I'm so sorry Try to relax, you'll think more clearly if you do. Where would a gecko go? Under some furniture? Can they climb well do you know? I don't think they can but I only know one leopard gecko. Would they seek a warm spot?

I figured they'd stay around a wall, so I checked that and under pretty much all the furniture, but I'm going to check the rest right now. They can't climb, so that's good. I hope they got out this morning and not last night .

Thank you DrK . I don't have plans today, so I'll just need to look. And look. And look.

Would they congregate to a heat lamp if you put one out?

That's not good I know that sick kind of feeling that you get at the bottom of your stomach- it so horrible. Just wondering have you tried sprinkling flour across the doorways etc?
I really hope you find them nice and quick. Sending positive thoughts your way xx

I hope you find them Colby, it would be a shame if they got out. Were all the doors and windows closed in the room where they escaped? What tanks/cages are these? If they had to be adapted for Gecko`s maybe they were not all that suitable? What kind of alterations did you have to make?

If it's any help when I lost my hamsters I would always find them in the same place - behind the closet. But my closets have like a hole in them between the floor and where the actual clothing goes in the back,t he front is sealed (I don't know how to explain it) and they would always go there.
Try to remember if you have furniture with such holes behind them.
