Default Drawing with the right side of the brain

I've just started drawing lessons (as if I don't have enough to do already!! ) and my teacher has recommended I buy this book.

Has anyone here tried it? I don't know if any of you are artistic types, but it's £20 and I don't want to buy it on a 'recommendation' from one person. The reviews on Amazon are good, but I don't know those people...!

I have no opinions on the book as i've never heard of it, BUT I wondered if you can reserve a copy at your local library? Or maybe if you're on good terms with a local book store they'll get it in for you to have a look at and decide?

Drat, I had that book and never used it! I do see them often enough in secondhand shops though so I would try there first, or at the library as CPalmer said. Have fun!

could get it 2nd hand for £2.81 on amazon

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-lis...condition=used

if this is the right one, there seems to be a few of the same titled book, but cheaper than £20.00 2nd hand on all of them.

You might also try "Zen Seeing, Zen Drawing". It's a good one!
