Yay it's the weekend!!! (a little bit about me too)

Here I am on a friday night on my laptop my Hammies don't wanna play Grumpy is swinging on his bars and Moo is filling her cheeks and rearranging her nest.
I could sit for hours just watching them especially after the week I have had at work it has been just awful

A lot of people think it quite strange that at 25 I decided that I wanted a hamster I think maybe it's because I needed something to really focus on after my dad died in October (moving on from there cos it kills me to talk about it )
First of all my mum was dead against the idea because I had had pets when I was younger and didn't look after them,well I can tell you all now my 2 want for nothing.
Anyhow my mum gave in in the end and my sister got me Moo for my birthday,I had told her that I wanted a black and white hamster (like a cow get it ) but she brought Moo home for me who is a short haired golden and I just liked the name so we kept it so that was on the 30th June 08.
Then 15th July 08 I was in P@H stocking up on hamster supplies when I decided to go look at the hamsters and this gorgeous lil black and white baby was stood up with his paws on the glass just gazing at me and because I am an impulsive person I just had to have him(and cos he was black and white),carrying him to the car was funny cos he was in the box just screaming and this carried on all the way home
For like the next four days everytime I gave him fresh food he used to scream and lunge at me and I don't mind telling you I was scared to go near him,now I look back and I think the lil devil was just teasing me because he is just sooooo loving and never actually bit me but the name Grumpy has stuck
Oh yeh forgot to say that my mum didn't know I had bought another ham cos she was in Spain at the time visiting my uncle so when she came home she had a shock honestly if I could I would fill the house with animals I would love a house rabbit or something but will just have to wait until I move out.
Some of you may have seen my post about Moo possibly being pregnant I'm thinking she might just be extremely fat but we shall find out in about a weeks time

Oh and Ruby my puppy has just brought a leaf to me how lucky am I ewwww it's covered in dribble hahaaha

Leah jayne you sound nice and relaxed and looking at life in a positive way. I'm sure your dad would be proud of you to know how you are coping and to see your love of animals flourish into devoted care fo your pets.

Thanks it's hard sometimes like I just don't want to get out of bed in the mornings but there is nothing nicer than taking my dogs for a really long walk getting the fresh air and then coming home to my hammies and just holding them close knowing they need me they are my babies until I have my real babies (one day I hope,I wanna make my daddy so proud!!).
Life is never easy but you have to make the best of it,heaven is a better place but only god decides when it's time for you to be there

Your dad is proud of you and I'm sure your mum is too. Death is a part of life and living but you know even though heaven awaits us, the people who pass on, never really leave us. They are there every day encouraging us, looking back at us in the mirror, they are a part of us. Your walks with your pup sound very peaceful and its good to have time like this for ourselves to be with ourselves. When we are in the hustle and bustle of the day its sometimes difficult to just be and the time you get with your pup and the time with your lovely hamsters (who may or may not be pregnant ) is special.
