This is her exact quote, so yes age does mean feedback.

You sell the item, and it tells you the buyers shipping address in both the ebay email you get, and a PayPal one (if they pay by PayPal). Once you know this, you wrap the parcel up, write their name and address on it and take it to the post office. If you send it by recorded, special or parcelforce delivery, the post will give you a label for it, otherwise you just weigh the parcel and pay whatever it is. If it's tracked, I always send the tracking number to the buyer so they can keep an eye on it.

Thank you for all that useful information. I just sold my first item on ebay: i will be going to the post office tomorrow to send it.

Make sure you ask for a proof of posting when you send it. This is free and notes the address you sent it to so if it gets lost in the post you have proof that you mailed it to the buyer.

You don't need a label if you write out the addressee details by hand. A label is only for when you pay online and print the address/postage paid yourself at home.

If you write the address on the parcel yourself and then take it to the Post Office, they print out the postage paid thing (instead of stamps) to put in the top right hand corner of the parcel, where the stamps would normally go. It is the stamp/s so you don't pay extra for it.
