It looked perfect on the reply screen when I went to quote your post, so I've messed about and tried to fix it for you Unfortunately I can't quote my edited version because I need it on a white background lol. Your problem is just that HC is removing the spaces before stuff, so I added in a ton of full stops and coloured them white so they don't show.
Here's my edited version so that everyone can see your cake in its full glory

Wishing you a very happy belated birthday, DrK. I sympathise about the dentist, I really do. Is there anything more humiliating or debilitating than having half a dozen implements in your mouth, the feeling of choking on your own saliva, fear, possibly a little discomfort (or pain) and then having to pay (a lot) for it? I hope your mouth recovers soon.

And as for being 60...well, as I always say, it's better than the alternative...(I would add a little smiley face here if I could work out how to do it).
