Re: There's snow. Ugh.
There's something so exciting about new-sprouted seedlings! Lovely window garden DrKMcK!

Why can't we have nice things like flowers and sun, lol! I'm sick of snow.

Because you don't have the benefit of the Pacific Ocean nearby

Re: There's snow. Ugh.
It actually did snow! I woke up on Wednesday to my car covered in snow. Good thing I kept the seedlings in the house! I do hope this is finally finished.

Re: There's snow. Ugh.
Well, its been cooler here, as in its been in the 50's-60's. It was in the 70's-80's earlier, but when the rains came, it cooled down a bit, what with the cold front.
Anyways, I missed the lunar eclipse two nights ago and now am cursing the cloud cover for preventing it from being seen.

I missed the lunar eclipse as well, shame as I like seeing things like that.
It's been sunshine here all week yesterday was really warm.

Re: There's snow. Ugh.
Yesterday was hot here (near Manchester UK), I even took my half bald dog out to enjoy the sunshine for 30 mins or so.
I'm thinking about how to make an outdoor pen 100% safe for my hamsters to have a bit of fresh air. Don't think my gerbils would like it as much but my hamster might enjoy it and on a one to one basis I should be able to keep a close eye on them.

Bringing a hamster outside is risky. Firstly, they hate direct daylight as they are crepuscular (nocturnal at dawn and dusk, when predators are less active), so you'd have a lot of stress there. Then add the constant threat of having a bird of prey so much as swoop over the yard, causing even more stress to the poor ham in question. Plus the fact that you'd need to make it dig proof too, or the ham will burrow its way out and never be seen again.
I would sooner keep the hams inside, for their health, AND mine/yours. Constantly worrying about a ham being snatched up, or getting away is too much for me to handle.

Re: There's snow. Ugh.
No snow, but it's been getting annoyingly hot at times, skipping spring weather altogether. :/

Its Global Warming, or "Climate Change", if you want the friendlier sounding version. XD
