HC Facebook group?
Just curious to see if there's an official HC Facebook group out there, I couldn't find one. Might be nice to get one going!

Re: HC Facebook group?
What a great idea, although I imagine this would mean more work for the administrators.

Re: HC Facebook group?
I think there might be an issue with people having to use their real names on facebook, I doubt it would be an official version of HC

Re: HC Facebook group?
You might find that the forum peters out though. This happened with our running club. And it's a lot easier to find information you want on this forum than it would be on a fb page/group.

Re: HC Facebook group?
This was discussed before and it was decided that it was not in the best interests of the forum to have such a page. The owner does not want any such pages made using the name or logo which is his property.
It was fully considered by the team though.
I think the forum retains all information as a valuable resource where as social media sites such as FB and twitter serve a different purpose of instant 'chat' and exchanges. Both have their places but monitoring another media is not the way for HC I'm afraid.

I love this site, it has been invaluable to me as a new hamster owner. Please never lose it.

Re: HC Facebook group?
I actually prefer that the sites be different. When I am on HC I don't really want to be bothered by my family and other friends. I think of HC as a special place I can go with my love of my pets and know that the other people here share that same feeling. I post on FB and my furries are there too, but not all that often.
