Default Shocking stuff!!

Oh my goodness, I've just had a call from University asking me to go back next year as long as I do 2 peices of coursework! Me and my tutor are just discussing it. I had to drop out as there was an aweful lot going on in my personal life which meant I could no longer study. However, as the coursework that I had submitted all scored over 75% (very high in uni terms, pass is 40%.

Not sur if I will got back yet though :s it's soooo boring!

what year did you leave it? first? First year is like a piece a cake compared to the rest, so if you thought that was too much work or too boring, i wouldn't bother going back.

1st year of Early Childhood studies. I couldn't be bothered to go in for the fact it was too easy. I like a challenge and thought I could get it from work!

If it was too easy then it'll be too easy now, though if your wanting a job in that sector i guess its a good idea to take the opportunity - at-least you know your capable of doing the work

i wouldn't bother. You could find a degree in the wrong area holds you back. My degree holds me back from certain jobs. They think you're going to leave and do something relating to your degree, so they don't give you the job, no matter what you say.

Also, do you really want to get £15,000 or whatever into debt for something that bores you and you don't need?

you could always do an ou course, you'll end up getting most of it for free if you're out of work and you can then mix courses if you ever got bord of one. though a lot of people have different views of the ou, but you'll get to stay with your hamsters as much as you wanted.

Open University? Hmmm, I'm gona have a look now!!

The grants I get from uni are very tempting though, it could be a deposit on a flat somewhere. I need a job obviously but it would be a nice head start!
