Default Allotment piccies

Took a few piccies of the stuff growing on the allotment last night... there's quite a few weeds around I know, but no one has felt up to doing it this week and they've all shot up.

(some of the grapes need taking off, we know ) (oh, and I don't know why I took piccies of a fly!)

That must keep you really busy? How much work do you have to put into it?

Generally weeded every few days on a rota, watered twice daily usually. Digging can take a while and is tiring. But apart from that, sewing the seeds is quick, as is picking the food It's mainly dads, but I do help out.

I always thought an allotment was a fairly big committment. Still excellent for getting homegrown food that you have done yourselves .

Looks great and what lovely fresh fruit and veg. I bet the hammies enjoy a bit of that too It is very satisfying to grow your own food I imagine. I'm not much of a gardener!
