With it being the end of the year, I don't think I'll be able to see a careers adviser, and I'm too old for the likes on connexions.. I am going to go up to the library tomoro, and see what I can find on the subject.

If you go to the connexions webbie, you can organise for someone to give you a call in your area x

Go with your heart is what I would say
I left school and went to college to do a secretarial course and improve my gcse's. Many years later whilst working I started a HNC in construction. I had a change in industry at that point and now work in construction whilst doing a part time degree. Its hard work but has been worth it so far (suga: message to self remember you love what you do, when the days are difficult!).

The course sounds like a good place to start. It will give you the opportunity to learn whilst not throwing you into a new completely new environment... hope you can follow your dreams... sugax

I've decided that I'm definately going to go for it! I even made the first move today by emailling the college to ask about the course.. The only thing now is, I hope they take me, as I have an ND in fish rather then animal management..
