Re: GOING TO THE UK! and paris!
I think thats too far to travel in one day and the journey would be very stressful for the little hamster - this morning on airline there was a guy from Athens who wanted to take his hamster back with him, it cost over 100 pounds to do so...

Surprisingly, there don't actually seem to be regulations prohibiting hamster import from Europe to the USA (although you will need a veterinary certificate to get the hamster from the UK to France). Its not really practical though, e.g. where will you keep the hamster while you're in France?

The pressure of the plane must be hard on the hamsters wee brains.
I would be keeping it in a hotel

I meant the cage you'd need to buy a decent sized cage for the hamster to be in, then a carrier for the plane - with luggage allowances you might not fit a cage in your luggage!

Oh
That's verryy true.
I could always buy a decentish size cage for cheap and then just like throw it in the garbage, bring it in a little carrying case or something, and then buy it a nice one when I get home.
